Chez Nous sur Marseille

After reading all these great reviews, my husband and I were so disappointed eating here. It felt like a terrible tourist trap, and while the owner was lovely, they didnt have any of the main dishes we wanted. The restaurant next to us was full of French diners, while ours was full of tourists. The wine was cheap but also not very good. I would not recommend sadly. It’s cash only, and the nearest tabac shop charges €5 per transaction (it’s not a machine but over the counter)

A restaurant with a very nice decor. The food is excellent and the waitresses are very professional. This restaurant was a great find for us while we were on vacation in the area. I highly recommend it.

We're Italian, and due to an unfortunate setback, we found ourselves spending more time than expected in this beautiful city. And let's face it: we Italians can be quite picky when it comes to food! It's not always easy to find a restaurant abroad that truly satisfies us. After trying several restaurants in the city, we finally arrived at Chez Nous... and from that moment on, it became our favorite place! Here, we found exactly what we were looking for: authentic, traditional cuisine, generous portions, more than fair prices, and, above all, truly delicious dishes. So much so, that we returned three times, aiming to try practically the entire menu! The oysters are spectacular, incredibly fresh, and both the meat and fish dishes are plentiful, flavorful, and magnificently cooked by the legendary chef. You can tell the cuisine here is authentic, made with passion. But a special, truly special, mention goes to our wonderful Simone. ❤️ From the very first evening, he made us feel welcomed, pampered, and almost part of the family. He gave us attention, smiles, and thoughtfulness despite his incredibly busy schedule, always making us feel like precious guests. He's one of those people who can transform a simple dinner into a beautiful memory. At a special moment in our trip, Chez Nous managed to give us three truly happy evenings, and for that, we will carry you in our hearts. A wonderful family restaurant in Marseille. Really good, local home-style food. It was lovely to sit on the terrace and enjoy a cozy dinner. The portions were huge! Thanks to the wonderful chef and the waitress, you were both wonderful. Remember to bring cash if you go there! ❤️
