Wonderful place. See a beautiful, long beach promenade with nice bistros and restaurants. It's not as crowded as other places.

Very nice town with a nice boulevard. 2 restaurants, 1 of which has a little bit of English, and we had a delicious meal there. There are public toilets everywhere and the beach is a school. Many stretches of beach are prohibited for dogs.

A really lovely seaside town. We dropped in on the way to Cognac. We had a lovely seafood meal right on the beach.

La Mama

28/08/2024: Restaurants were opening at 1900, we were hungry. Followed the sign down a side alley to La Mama. Opened at 1800 for 'eat in'. Welcome was good, choice to sit outside (very small decked area with a few tables) was accommodated with good service attitude. 4 pizza's, 2 rounds of mixed drinks (large beers and soft drinks) Euro 80. Pizzas were well cooked thin, nothing claggy with fake cheese, too much dough or the feeling the bases were pre made, i'm certain there were not. Really good, can't fault it for making you full and replenished 👍
