Excelsior sur Fouras

I'm not a pizza fan, but these are very good, the welcome is warm, the service is good, and the pizza is great for an average price.

An experience that makes you want to avoid it. We came for a drink and received a cold welcome, no friendliness whatsoever, and clearly little interest in people who weren't eating (we came back because we had dinner there last week, and the welcome was completely different then). We asked for peanuts with our drinks, and they sent us straight to the vending machine where they cost €2 a box. That's the atmosphere: a bar/restaurant that's nothing like a bar, as you're not welcome if you're not ordering a meal. Very disappointed 😞

I came to eat and was warmly welcomed; the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, and the cocktails and drinks were well served.

The pizzas are super thin and delicious. The service is quick and very pleasant. Well done to the whole team!

Excellent!!! Festive atmosphere... the pizzas (takeaway) were excellent!! Definitely going back

I had a lovely evening in Fouras with my family (5 people). I called at the last minute, just before 8 pm, and to my pleasant surprise, I got a table quickly. Some might say that's not a good sign, but honestly, it was just luck. Their large outdoor terrace was quite busy. The welcome was fantastic, and their pizzas are delicious. The decor is well-chosen, reflecting the history of the place. The overall rating on Google Maps should be better. Okay, there are a few things that could be improved about the restrooms, but the atmosphere is really great. All the best to the whole team!

The pizzas were very good, with generous toppings. Nice place.

Very good pizzas. Nice place. Friendly staff. Very popular spot.

We arrived a little late (9:30 pm) but were served very quickly. The staff was great, except for the outdoor seating, which left something to be desired due to the size of the spiders and the fact that the walls weren't very clean. Also, the customers smoking next to us weren't ideal, which is a shame because otherwise the pizzas were very good and they offered us a complimentary digestif.

The tiramisu was excellent and quite generous. For the exotic pizza (pineapple, chicken, curry), I asked for extra chorizo on top to spice it up; perhaps next time I'll add some Camembert to enhance the sweet and savory flavor. The setting is lovely, a mix of old cinema and century-old pub, I'm told.
