This family-run canteen, frequented by local Chinese, speaks volumes about its authentic flavors. Stepping inside feels like entering a "Wenzhou Kingdom," as everyone—from the staff and chefs to the customers—is from Wenzhou. Even after I explained I didn't speak Wenzhou dialect, they remained incredibly friendly. For brunch, I ordered Wenzhou's signature pig intestine rice noodles, which included pig's blood, large intestine, minced pork, bean sprouts, scallions, and rice noodles, with the option of adding an egg. The large intestine was impeccably cleaned and incredibly flavorful, giving the broth a rich, meaty aroma on top of its otherwise light flavor. The portion was generous, and the price was very reasonable. I'll definitely be back!
