Ice Cream Shop sur Saint-Ouen

I had a flat white and a pistachio cookie at Café Coutume on the second floor of Galeries Lafayette. The flat white was good, but unfortunately the pistachio cookie didn’t taste fresh and was quite dry. Considering the price, I expected better quality. The seating wasn’t very comfortable either. The seats were hard, and there were only a few seats with back support, which isn’t ideal if you want to sit and relax for a while. On the positive side, the café was pleasantly cool and provided a nice escape from the heat outside. Overall, the pastry quality and seating could definitely be improved.

I really enjoyed the flat white with oat milk. It was very good.

What does a girl need to get a good cup of tea in Paris🫪. I’ve been searching but alas, the hot tea with milk is not as plentiful as in the UK. I finally got one here at Coutume! A little overpriced for tea, but the baristas (as busy as they are) are very friendly, even politely obliging to my request for more milk. I also like the view. Just what I needed, thanks Coutume! 🥖🎀🤩😁🙏

Very nice atmosphere and great coffee

Beautiful view over the iconic glass dome. It’s a great coffee spot to take a break while shopping. The service was super friendly and attentive, making it a really enjoyable place to spend some time.

We were here on 04.2nd 2026.The atmosphere was very beautiful. The milk foam on the cappuccino was fine, smooth, and delicious. The double espresso was also good. In particular, the male staff member serving the coffee was very polite and kind. However, it was uncomfortable that department store onlookers kept standing around us taking pictures, disturbing our rest. I wish they would manage non-customer visitors a bit better.
