Excellent! After several years, we've rediscovered our favorite restaurant. A welcome change, it's transformed from a former bistro into a gastronomic gem. The dishes are exceptionally refined, with exquisite, sophisticated flavors and stunning presentation. All this in an idyllic setting, a tiny perched Provençal village. I love it. The price is fair for such a high-end experience. Bravo!

Unfortunately, we couldn't eat on the terrace because it was raining. The view is magnificent, which is one of the restaurant's strong points. The cuisine is refined, and the blind tasting menu can be surprising, as there are no choices: a single starter, main course, and dessert. The starter was inventive, the main course classic but very flavorful, and the dessert perfectly indulgent. The service ranges from excellent to terrible. As an aperitif, she offered us a taste of the Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise before serving it, which was perfect. After that, things went downhill. The red wine was served directly into the glass in which the sweet white wine had been poured. For a restaurant that emphasizes its wines, this is very poor. Furthermore, when the bill arrived, we had the unpleasant surprise of being charged for water (Soda Stream) without any prior mention of it (this feels like upselling). There were three waitresses; the other two were very professional, but we were served by a seasonal worker. Despite a few negative points, the experience was quite positive overall.

A wonderful discovery in Blauvac! La Calade restaurant offers delicious, carefully prepared cuisine in a pleasant and welcoming setting. The portions are generous and the ingredients are high quality. A special mention goes to our waitress, who was very friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our meal. Her warm welcome and helpfulness greatly contributed to our excellent experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will gladly return!
