La Chope D'Orient sur Loudun

One Sunday at lunchtime...halfway to our destination...a very pleasant break and welcome...and excellent couscous, thank you very much...we will be back...

We were delighted with our meal. We ordered tagines, couscous, and brik pastries (there were six of us), and we thoroughly enjoyed it; the portions were generous. The flavors were subtle and very fragrant, the presentation was excellent, and the whole family loved it. The service was quick and impeccable, the staff very friendly, and the little black cat adorable. In short, go without hesitation!

A wonderful surprise! We'd been looking for a good couscous restaurant in the area for ages and we were thrilled 🤩 The food is truly delicious and the staff are lovely. We'll definitely be back!

Celebrated my 40th birthday with 20+ people there and we had an amazing time even in the midst of a heat wave. The food was delicious. I had been looking forward to that pastilla for so long... But it didn't disappoint. Criminally underrated. I will be back every time I'm in Loudun.

We enjoyed an excellent couscous, with perfectly cooked vegetables and excellent meat. It was a pleasant surprise to suddenly find ourselves quite hungry. The service was very attentive.
