I loved the warm welcome, the attention to detail in the decor and table setting, and the generous dining space (table size and spacing). The menu is extensive enough to please everyone. Be sure to book in advance, as it's often full. Edit of April 11, 2026: I stand by my initial review. After several visits with different people, the feedback is unanimous regarding the delicious food, the generous portions, and the pleasant, friendly, and attentive service. I've noticed some negative reviews lately that aren't credible, for example: 2 stars because "the portions aren't generous!" With everyone I've been to, even without an appetizer, the main course is hard to finish (and you can take the leftovers home without any problem). 1 star because "You can't give anything less than a star, so…" and no explanation for this rating. 1 star because "The food is very good. However, the service provided by the owner's wife is just unacceptable. Not at all friendly. She doesn't belong in the dining room at all. If the owner reads this message, I think she's detracting from your excellent cuisine." If the food is good, why one star and not an average rating? And I would like to add that this is completely false; the owner is always friendly and pleasant (see the many other comments to that effect).

Lunch today, a table of 16 people. The guests arrived relatively punctual despite the parking difficulties (8 couples, 8 cars). We met at noon, everyone was present and seated at 12:15. An aperitif was offered, with only 4 choices: a cocktail (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), kir, or pastis. The same €39 set menu was served to everyone (no choice due to organizational reasons!). The aperitif was served with 3 dozen cooked chickpeas and a few toothpicks. Very ordinary, not very good, probably leftover chickpeas from the previous service... Our chosen menu: starter: samosas, main course: couscous, dessert: 3 small Moroccan pastries, and nothing more. The samosas were served at 1:30 pm with a lettuce leaf. It took so long that I was ultimately glad the 12 chickpeas were there to tide me over. Two bottles of wine were ordered: a rosé from Boulaouane and a very ordinary white from Costières. The couscous arrived at 2:00 PM: Served like this: a plate of semolina, another with the meats, yet another with the vegetables and a little clear broth, and finally a dish of sauce. Not too bad overall, but: one small chicken leg (without the drumstick) for each person, one meatball, one small merguez sausage. One of each, NOT TWO! Not a single piece of lamb. Not a single raisin, no extra broth. A tiny ramekin of harissa for those who like it. The couscous wasn't bad, but disconcertingly bland, a cheap version! Around 2:45 PM, desserts were served. My neighbor wanted ice cream. She told me quite loudly while the waitress (apparently the owner) was serving us the three small pastries we'd ordered. To make sure she heard, she looked at us and a simple "NO" came out of her mouth, without any further comment, reaction, or offer...!!! We were so surprised we laughed! Then, to finish, we asked who wanted tea and who wanted coffee. These drinks were served around 3:00 PM and helped us swallow the overly sweet pastries. Then came the time to leave and pay the bill, which had been split eight ways -> 103 euros per couple, or 51.50 euros per person. I estimate that the food cost between 4 and 6 euros per person, including wine. Conclusion: Austere service. Barely average quality. No prime cuts of meat in this dish. The wait was practically endless. My opinion: The value for money is barely acceptable in my opinion. It's on par with a good, inexpensive cafeteria couscous in terms of quality, nothing more, but for the price of a truly high-quality Royal couscous. A disappointment... It reeks of a money-making machine rather than the pleasant atmosphere of friendly and efficient service and quality cuisine made with good ingredients. The price paid certainly warranted it, in my opinion... We will not be repeating the experience.

16/04/2026: I was familiar with the one in Colmar, where I used to go near the cinema. I've only been here once so far; the Queen Victoria salad was very good, and the poached egg was perfect. The service was pleasant, and I'll be back.
16/04/2026: We arrived at 7:50 PM and waited over 20 minutes before our drinks were even served. Meanwhile, a group of four arrived after us, and we were served drinks plus a main course (there were only two of us). We are regulars at this establishment, so we were quite surprised to see that the appetizer to share, still at the same price, had been reduced by more than half in size.

McDonald's

29/05/2026: I came once before and honestly, everything was perfect: fast service, well-cooked food, nothing to complain about. They just forgot the Chinese and deluxe sauces in my order, but that can happen. However, I came back today and again the service was good, except the fries were really undercooked… It's a shame because at the price of the set menus, you expect your food to be cooked properly and your order to be complete. Please pay a little more attention to these details.
16/05/2026: First time here, very friendly welcome from the staff, great 👍
