La Médina sur Pont-Audemer

We had a delicious meal at the restaurant of a very friendly gentleman who served us.

I had a wonderful time at La Medina in Pont-Audemer. The welcome is warm and the staff are incredibly friendly; you immediately feel at ease. The dishes are delicious and very generous, with authentic flavors that truly transport you. The couscous is simply incredible: tender meat, perfectly cooked vegetables, and light semolina. The restaurant has a friendly and pleasant atmosphere, ideal for spending quality time with family or friends. It's definitely a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who loves Moroccan cuisine or wants to discover new flavors. I'll gladly return!

We discovered this restaurant quite by chance while passing through Pont-Audemer, on our way back from Deauville. We were craving a good couscous and decided to stop by to try it, even without a reservation. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat in, but we opted for a royal couscous to take away… and what a pleasant surprise! It was a real feast: delicious, very flavorful, and above all, extremely generous. The portions were truly copious; there was even enough for the next day! It was our first time here, and we absolutely don't regret it. Next time, we'll definitely make a reservation to enjoy the atmosphere in person. A big thank you to the team and the gentleman who looked after us for his warm welcome and kindness. We received a warm welcome and chose a chicken skewer couscous and a merguez couscous. Excellent for our taste buds, very generous portions, and served with a lovely mint tea.

We eat there regularly; the owner is very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend it if you want to have a nice evening with family or friends and enjoy a good meal—you're in the right place.
