La Medina sur Reims

Hello everyone and lovers of good oriental cuisine! Don't waste your time and money! At the top of the shameful list of so-called oriental restaurants, the Riad in Reims is particularly bad. The couple who run it are incredibly rude, and their couscous is bland, tasteless, and flavorless. My advice: go to McDonald's first because you'll likely leave this dreary restaurant hungry, and you'll be left with a hefty bill. La Médina, on the other hand, is a blend of simplicity and exceptional skill. I had a couscous that was absolutely divine, no exaggeration. It was enough for four people. The couple who run it are incredibly kind and down-to-earth. In short, it's truly the best in Reims, by far.

Very, very good and a great atmosphere.

I count all my calories, and an app found this restaurant by analyzing a photo of my plate. The chickpea dish was tasty and high in protein, with a normal portion size. The service was quick and efficient.

The food is delicious. The lamb dish is the best for me. We ordered couscous. This is the best food in our trips.

I went to eat couscous with my father at lunchtime. The couscous was delicious. The staff were really very friendly. And the best part is the cave-like atmosphere – it's so charming! The decor is really well done. I absolutely loved the experience and the food was excellent!

I've never eaten such delicious couscous in my life... absolutely succulent. Semolina, meat, vegetables, harissa sauce... And the meat was excellent too. The price was very reasonable, around 20 euros, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the setting was lovely (with an outdoor terrace). I highly recommend it. Go without hesitation. You won't be disappointed. 20 out of 20.

One of the best restaurants in Reims, right in the city center and ideally located, it offers a truly unique experience thanks to both its atmosphere and service. If you've never been, try it and you'll be hooked! 😃😉

Don't be fooled by the lack of outdoor seating (we dined there in July). The restaurant has an internal courtyard with outdoor seating. We dined inside, and it was wonderful thanks to the mechanical ventilation. We had two tagines (lamb and chicken) with a lovely semolina dish. The tagines were phenomenal, tasty, rich, and cooked to perfection. The semolina was amazing, fine, and full of flavor. We finished with a traditional mint tea. Highly recommended!! PS: The owner and his wife are super kind.

I've known this restaurant for many years, a little over 15. I've never been disappointed, and my last visit, despite a change in management, was entirely satisfactory. Perhaps one of the best couscous dishes in Reims...
