“It’s so much better than the canteen!” Words from my children. I liked the concept of eating in an old school. The food is homemade and everything is good. Several formulas depending on your appetite.

Spending our autumn holidays near Saint Saturnin les Apt, it was on recommendation (thanks Sandrine) that we discovered this charming little restaurant, where we several times had an excellent lunch, outside in the playground, by a sunny and very mild autumn weather. The food served delighted us, and was always of excellent quality, we can only congratulate the cook. The service itself was provided by an attentive guy, very kind and always ready to help. The boss, himself very friendly, ensured the smooth running of the meals served and was omnipresent. We must of course not forget the striking personality of this well-established team, the little Mistral who immediately won our hearts. Returning to our original Germany (Aachen) it will always be with a moved thought, a little pang of heart, that we will try to immerse ourselves again - through the numerous photos we took there - in this friendly, family atmosphere where we spent unforgettable moments. Absolutely recommended. You will not regret and thank you again to this whole team who defends southern cuisine so well.

What a gem! We stumbled upon it when we arrived at Gargas from Avignon. Restaurant was closed but the owner got us coffees whilst we waited for our taxi. As our taxi didn’t turn up the owner personally sorted out a taxi to our hotel and offered a complimentary glass of wine. We returned for dinner and enjoyed a tasty 3 course meal in the eve in a beautiful courtyard setting. It was clear that the owner hasn’t caught onto the social media platform to advertise his restaurant so here is the menu and some photos.
