La Saint Quentinoise Pizzeria sur Saint-Quentin-La-Poterie

The pizzas were rather dry (non-traditional dough) with few ingredients (the toppings weren't evenly distributed) 🍕 I was quite disappointed as the quality of the ingredients wasn't there. They were difficult to digest, and the price wasn't good value for money!

This pizzeria is excellent. The pizzas are superb and exceptional. The staff is welcoming, especially Alicia. I highly recommend them, no complaints whatsoever. I'll be back.

Sunday night, we spent our first night in Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie. We had driven 1,321 km from our home in Norwich, England, when our car broke down just 80 km from our destination. After being towed to the motorway, we had to leave our car for repairs and take a taxi to the villa. Hungry and exhausted, we discovered that all the shops were closed. All of them… except Carmen’s Pizza. We ordered three pizzas, two tiramisus, a chocolate mousse, an excellent bottle of Viognier, and some drinks for the children. Wow! Probably the best pizza we’ve ever had. Everything was freshly made with high-quality ingredients. The desserts were just as delicious and homemade—which makes all the difference. Add to that the friendly service and a perfectly chilled Viognier, and you have the ideal meal to lift our spirits after such a hectic day. Our sons were blown away by this discovery. We already know we'll need another pizza and wine night before the end of our vacation! Thank you so much! (We're English and my French is terrible, so I used Google Translate to write this message. But after tasting your pizzas, I'm almost tempted to learn French—something my teacher never managed to do!)
