La Taverne du Temps sur Bruniquel

The food was good, but the wait time was completely unacceptable. Over 1 hour and 10 minutes for a simple salad and a piece of grilled meat… 😕 When you're busy, it's sometimes better to turn people away than to make customers wait so long. It's a shame, because the quality was there, but the overall experience really suffered.

A wonderful discovery this Sunday in Bruniquel, a superb medieval village that's definitely worth a visit 👌 We stopped at La Taverne du Temps: gourmet coffee and homemade ice cream… a real treat, high-quality products and beautifully presented 👍 A slight downside, however, was the service: the waitress seemed a little annoyed, which slightly dampened the atmosphere. But it's still a great place in a magnificent setting, highly recommended 🙂

Very good food at a reasonable price.

A true gem in Bruniquel! As soon as you arrive at La Taverne du Temps, you immediately get that rare feeling: that of being in exactly the right place at the right time. The setting is idyllic, perfectly integrated into the village's character, and ideally located right in the center, making the experience even more magical. As for the food, it's a real winner: the burgers and salads are homemade, prepared with local products, and above all, incredibly generous... a true delight. Special mention goes to the amazing homemade sauces, which give each dish a unique signature. And then there's the selection of beers and wines, which is simply astounding: there's something for everyone, with a truly excellent selection, perfect for pairing with a meal or simply enjoying the moment. The welcome is warm, the service is impeccable, and after chatting with the owner, Cathy, you quickly understand that everything is done with passion and authenticity. And frankly, I don't understand some of the negative reviews: they don't reflect reality at all. Here, you experience a genuine, human, delicious, and unforgettable moment. If you come to Bruniquel and truly want to connect with the place, feel the village atmosphere, and take a real break from time, then this is definitely the place to go. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great place! A good choice for those who eat gluten-free. The hamburgers are large and very tasty. The chocolate cake was amazing! The panna cotta was extraordinary! The decor is nice. The restaurant staff is very good. We will definitely go back.

It's so good you'll want to order a second plate if you could eat more! Don't hesitate, treat yourself and go eat there! A huge plus for the gluten-free option—it's fantastic!
