Very nice discovery this afternoon, nothing to criticize Price, products, services everything was good. We are about forty kilometers away but we will come back because we do not have this value for money at home.

Conches-en-Ouche n'est pas la destination de rêve d'une aventure culinaire. On y vient parce qu'on y est né ou parce que l'amour nous a fait épouser une fille du coin. Et c'est mon cas. Le soir dans ces endroits perdus du plateau du Neubourg on a faim et on n'a parfois pas envie de sortir les casseroles. Alors Google nous amène jusqu'à la pizzeria la plus proche, inconnue, mais déjà presque complète à notre arrivée. Et là il se passe quelque chose d'inouï. Tout est bon. Tout est copieux. Tout est servi avec le sourire. Incroyable pizza dite "sarladaise" avec du beurre aillé et une pâte miraculeusement fine et légèrement croquante. Elle était presque trop petite, ma gourmandise ayant rapidement pris le dessus sur mon appétit. Et la dame blanche ! Trop de restaurants oublient qu'un dessert doit être une apothéose. Pas l'Aroma. Gigantesque dame blanche ! Avec une glace vanille juste à la bonne température pour se mêler à la crème fouettée sans qu'on puisse les distinguer. Mes accompagnatrices se sont régalées de lasagnes et d'une salade titanesque ; mention spéciale pour les enfants qui ont le droit à la pizza de leur choix à la carte, mais en version mini. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner.

Pleasant place frequented regularly. Friendly and efficient staff. Professional and attentive owners. Always a fun time with family or friends. For lunch or dinner, I recommend without hesitation! Good luck boss, Looking forward to it.

A perfect restaurant in every way. A service that ensures, such a pleasant waitress, a golden boss. Impeccable cuisine. We have a wonderful time there.

Excellent lunch of Spag Bolognese and Salmon and leek lasagne followed by Tiramisu with strawberry. To be recommended! A lovely surprise in this small town.

04/08/2024: It's always a pleasure to go to the slate, as a couple or with friends....
30/07/2024: We come regularly to the gourmet slate and it’s just perfect. We are always welcomed with a smile and kindness, the menu is not in all directions (always a good sign), the dishes are excellent and the value for money is unbeatable. In short, highly recommended for a great time!

La Grand'Mare

03/10/2024: La Grand Mare, recently taken over by new owners, is a superb discovery. The seasonal cuisine prepared in the charcoal oven is tasty and showcases the products perfectly. Whether you are a lover of meat or more refined dishes, the menu will delight you. The setting is warm and friendly, ideal for a good time with friends or family. The welcome is also very pleasant, with attentive staff. An address that I highly recommend!
30/09/2024: If Rome was not built in a day, the current owners of this hotel restaurant resurrected it in two months. In a building that is not lacking in style, the rooms have been almost completely redone, tastefully and using quality materials; a special mention for the quality of the bedding. Certain points can certainly be improved and they are aware of this. However, don't forget to dust off the headboards 👍. Regarding the restaurant which benefits from two superb rooms; you can only be happy to eat there: a short menu guaranteeing "homemade" combining the quality of the products with the know-how of the cooks combined with the "knowledge" of the staff in the dining rooms, it is more than remarkable with such a short operating time and a young team. The numerous presence of a local clientele is the best guarantee of this. Breakfast is the exception that proves the rule: here, no frozen croissants and other anemic pain au chocolat: everything is fresh and plentiful. The icing on the cake, all this for low prices. A word of advice; Travelers don't hesitate for a second to stop there, it's nothing but happiness.
