Fantastic location & nice drinks - would be great if they stocked oat milk for their coffees.

Simple, snack-style food. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Well, why not? It's got its original charm, which gives it a certain appeal. The service isn't very efficient and isn't always precise. The food is decent without being amazing. But ultimately, the whole experience is endearing, and if you add to that the very reasonable price, well, you have a place worth recommending.

Bar with reasonable prices. It's fast food, but the portions are generous. Nice dining room. Good terrace. Quick service. Cool!

Prices have skyrocketed in the last two weeks. For example: Tea, which was €1.40, is now €2.90. Beers have gone up between 30 and 40 cents. A small 8cl glass of white wine has skyrocketed, worse than a barrel of Brent crude. Mr. Manager of this bar, we are in a small village in Civray, in the Vienne department (86). We are not on the coast in Paris, Tokyo, or London. All your staff at this bar are very kind, helpful, and pleasant people.

A small village square. A few tables outside, not much foot traffic, and a very friendly welcome. Ideal for relaxing on the terrace.

A real village bistro, with a real bistro owner. People talk about gardening, the weather, and everyday life.

Good value for a snack type meal, the chorizo pizza is my fave!!

I recommend this place for a drink on the terrace on Tuesday mornings while the market is open.
