During our cycling trip, we stopped at this tastefully renovated old farmhouse and were enchanted by its charm. The house and rooms were spacious and comfortable, the breakfast table was welcoming and generous, and the romantic garden was soothing and refreshing, with little chickens roaming freely. Françoise, the owner, was very pleasant, welcoming, and accommodating. Also worth noting: Marans is a very pretty town to explore, with its market hall, narrow streets, church, and port. And if it's hot, the municipal swimming pool is outdoors in the wooded park of Marans – a real treat!
