A very nice three-star hotel with friendly and helpful staff, especially when it comes to offering vegan options in the restaurant. Easy to find and park, we used it as a base for visiting the various D-Day landing beaches. It was cold outside, but inside we could easily wear shorts and, with a Goudale IPA on tap and delicious fish and chips, we quickly forgot about the cold.

A very nice hotel and excellent restaurant with a great wine list. The staff are welcoming and responsive. The breakfast buffet is very well stocked…and you're right by the sea in a lovely setting, both indoors and out.

We spent two nights in this charming hotel; it was excellent value for money. The rooms were well-heated, facing the sea, and the staff were lovely. The breakfast buffet was very good.

We had a wonderful time at Clos Normand. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The meal was excellent. The rooms are very clean, but the only slight drawback is the size of the bathroom, which is really quite small. The location is truly excellent. We will gladly return, especially since we learned that renovations are planned to improve the size of the bathrooms.

16/11/2024: Firstly, the setting: a very cozy room, tastefully decorated but without overload and an unstoppable view of the sea. A cozy and pleasant atmosphere. The service: nothing to complain about, the staff is discreet and provides good advice with a smile. And finally on your plate: the menu announces fresh products and they are there, a delight. Each bite melts with the flavors on point. To the entire Papagayo team, THANK YOU!!!

17/09/2025: We visited on a quiet Wednesday evening in mid-September and there was only one other table occupied, although there were some locals collecting takeaway pizzas. The pizzas were excellent with perfect base and delicious toppings. The beer was slightly expensive like many places in Normandy, but a carafe of wine was reasonably priced. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and will be back.
26/08/2025: Having been a regular at Mama's for years, I decided to go to Italy to compare pizzas. I'll say it loud and clear: Mama's pizzas are better than Italian pizzas. I highly recommend the calzone 😍 I'm attaching a photo of us laughing out loud at the deliciousness of these pizzas.
