Le Donjon à pizz' sur Pons

Locale molto carino e accogliente. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e fa delle pizze eccezionali, detto da un'Italiana :)

Passing through Pons for a night, we found ourselves somewhat by chance in this pizzeria. The owner is really very friendly and showed us how his dough is made by hand. Most importantly: the pizzas are exceptionally good! The dough is delicious and the products are really high quality. If you have the chance, I highly recommend you try it!

We ate upstairs and the atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was good. We ate very well. Good food

De passage sur Pons, j’ai été - sans grande conviction - prendre une pizza à emporter dans ce resto qui ne paye pas de mine à l’extérieur. Une fois à l’intérieur une ambiance très agréable avec de la musique, lumières douces et un gérant sympathique. J’ai pris une végétarienne mais quelle pizza Mama mia !!Une pâte comme je n’en ai jamais mangé, moelleuse, légère avec une saveur incroyable et des ingrédients de qualité (légumes de saison marinés). Une pizza de passionné pour de fins gourmets. Je n’ai qu’un regret : ne pas habiter plus près ! A tester absolument lors de votre passage à Pons !

It was completely by chance that I discovered this pizzeria during a stay in Pons, but what a joy. I wasn't expecting much in this small village but this pizzeria offers a dish like I have rarely experienced (even in Italy). The dough is simply exceptional; soft, fragrant, supple…a treat! A generous and delicious garnish with marinated and roasted seasonal vegetables. Very friendly welcome from the pizza maker who is just starting out but who already has everything the grown-ups have! I highly recommend.

Ordering two pizzas to take away, I wasn't able to enjoy the atmosphere of the room. Contact with the friendly boss, and being the cook he happily explains his vision of pizza to you with passion. Concerning the pizzas, they are balanced, the ingredients present in quantities allowing you to feel the taste of each of them. Everything is good and tasteful and above all they are fresh. The dough is exceptional, certainly it differs from the "classics" to which we are accustomed but presents much better qualities. Light, full of flavor, easy to eat. Just the dough alone is worth it. I had never tasted a pasta prepared this way. The only point we could criticize is that you can hardly eat the pizza by hand. Of course take cutlery so it works very well. Being passing through, I regret not being able to return for a certain time. Thank you for this discovery.
