Le Florentin sur Aubagne

Hello, we were served by the manager. The atmosphere with the staff is very pleasant, which is great. The air-conditioned dining room is very welcome in this heat, and the prices are comparable to other restaurants. I had a flank steak with truffle sauce, which was good, and my wife had a Neapolitan salad (she would have liked a few more tomatoes 😉), but it was good too. The revisited peach dessert was perfect for finishing (for two). So don't hesitate!

I go to Florentin regularly, the food is excellent, the waiters are super friendly and professional, and the menus are varied and delicious!

It's always a pleasure to eat at Florentin. The welcome is warm and the dishes are carefully prepared and generous. My son loves it!

The meal was very good and the waitress was excellent.

On Friday, May 1st, my 80-year-old mother, a friend, and I came to eat. The bill came to 115 euros, without coffee. The waiter came to ask if everything was alright, and my mother and I felt compelled to say that the warm goat cheese salad (19 euros) was a rip-off. It was practically nothing but salad, two pieces of over-toasted bread (I mean bread, not toast), a cherry tomato cut in half, and two small pieces of bacon. In short, a rip-off. The waiter didn't appreciate this and cut us off. In comparison: We had a salmon tartare (22 euros) and a beef tartare (23 euros), which were delicious, generous portions, and well-presented. We had been before, but serving and charging for a dish like that is truly shameful. The waiter could have offered us coffee, but chose to ignore us. He drinks during service, which might explain his disdain. It's time for us to change our address.

We had a wonderful dinner, enjoying tasty pizzas, fresh salads, and delicious burgers. We loved the atmosphere, and the service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more special. A place we'll definitely return to.
