Clearly, some people think that their proximity to another town gives them the right to raise their chins... Perhaps because they're from there, or because they're fleeing a less glamorous daily life, thanks to loans and appearances. No complaints about the bread, or some of the pastries. The pizzas aren't bad, but they're often a bit dry. But the welcome, frankly, would benefit from being as refined as the crust. Let's be clear: you're not above anyone. This is a bakery, not a neighboring embassy. When you run a business, the key is a smile. If you don't want to be sincere, at least pretend to be. Passing off discreet contempt as a facade toward those who come in, credit card in hand, isn't service. It's a choice. A bad one, but a choice. As for politeness... it's a matter of education. And here, clearly, we're not speaking the same language. A kind word, a human look: it costs less than a baguette. And it's much more nourishing than your stale contempt.
