Le Grand Aigle sur Auray

A little Asian gem in the middle of the city 👍, a small, unpretentious family restaurant with everything you need for a delicious meal in a warm setting. The restaurant staff are very pleasant; you feel right at home. Upon entering, we were greeted by the warm smiles of the owners, which makes you want to come back because the food is very friendly and good, with something for everyone. A truly wonderful culinary experience. Thank you for this delightful moment in your establishment 😇.

The staff are really very friendly, polite, and pleasant, not at all cliquish like some restaurants (like the one in Redon, with its awful staff...). Of course, it's not the biggest wok restaurant, and that's precisely why the price is attractive. But even so, they're trying to innovate and keep the prices reasonable. I like going back with friends because it has a more convivial atmosphere than the big restaurants...

Whenever we're in Auray, this large, yet manageable, restaurant is welcoming. The food is delicious and fresh, clean, and the service is friendly and welcoming. What more could you ask for? We keep coming back and recommending it, so that's a good sign! 👍👍

Very good restaurant with a quiet atmosphere

A colleague wanted to introduce me to this place. Aside from the very friendly and smiling waiter, I was disappointed by the food. There was very little choice, the appetizers were soggy, and the spring rolls were barely filled. I went there on Friday at lunchtime, and I must have gotten food poisoning because I had stomach pain and diarrhea from Friday evening until Sunday morning.

This little restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you go inside, you'll find quality food. Since it's a small place, you won't find all the usual suspects like the famous tempura or cheese fritters... but who cares! At least they don't resort to low-end French products like mixed vegetables with mayonnaise or other similar fare that you sometimes find in larger stores... On the other hand, if you order from the wok, you'll be pleasantly surprised! The gentleman who prepares your dish is truly an artist! He respects the ingredients and cleans his woks between each customer. (Unlike some larger restaurants that fry everything in the same oil.) From my experience (I'm quite familiar with HACCP 😉), I can guarantee he's top-notch! Thank you again for this wonderful culinary experience, sir. The only slight drawback of this restaurant is the somewhat dated atmosphere, but frankly, one can do without music or frills when the quality of the ingredients is paramount, as it was for us.
