Thank you Mr Azim for the most delicious curry. The taste is authentic and makes us remember our time in Asia. We tried the butter chicken, baigain Bharta , spinach with lamb and spinach with paneer. Our kids said it is the best butter chicken they have eaten even compared to London curries. When we return to Paris and to Fontenay sur Bois we will definitely be eating at Mr Azim’s restaurant.

A fantastic restaurant, the food is delicious. We're never disappointed. Incredible service, always attentive. A must-try address on a small street near the center of Fontenay.

We always receive a warm welcome at Kohistan, the food is delicious, we lived in front of the restaurant for several months and it's really our go-to place, I can only recommend Kohistan, special mention for the Shohi Karma and the homemade ice cream 🫶 we always come back with pleasure!

A restaurant where you feel good: real (white) tablecloths on the tables, a calm atmosphere which allows you to talk, very comfortable chairs, and even, in this heatwave, some coolness! Delicious food.

We ordered €50 worth of delivery from their website. The order was placed at 9:34 PM, and having received no update 30 minutes later, I decided to call them. They hadn't received my order… We were finally delivered at 10:46 PM (1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering). The food was good, but absolutely no compensation was offered. So we paid €50 for a delivery an hour later…

22/08/2026: A small Indian restaurant located in a huge shopping center in Val de Fontenay. But the real question is: how can a small Indian restaurant manage to stay open and operate for years, right next to big chains like McDonald’s, KFC, and Burger King, when so many other restaurants in the area have closed? The answer is actually quite simple: quality, a warm welcome, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Before coming here, I had practically no experience with Indian food. So it was a first for me, and I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes were truly delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and my order was prepared very quickly. I ordered a set menu, which even included bread and cheese, and I only paid €15. Honestly, I think it's excellent value for money. The restaurant is also very clean, and everything is done with care and efficiency. In my opinion, this is precisely what explains the longevity of this small restaurant in such a busy shopping center: good ingredients, affordable prices, and above all, genuine respect for the customer. If, like me, you're not yet familiar with Indian cuisine, I highly recommend you try this restaurant.
