Le Maharajah sur Reims

We chose the Bollywood menu at €16.99. We thought there would be a choice of starter, main course, and dessert, but it was actually an assortment of 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, and a naan, which was a pleasant surprise for those wanting to discover Indian cuisine. * For starters, the beef samosa was good, but there was only one. The chana masala was strange. It contained a sort of extra-hot cream, but not in the spicy sense of the word. It was as if it were a dairy product that had gone bad. * For the main course, the chicken with a spicy sauce was good, but the portion was small, served with fragrant rice. The bartha was excellent, undoubtedly the best dish on the menu. * For dessert, there was a carrot cake and a semolina cake (colored red, oddly enough). Not to my taste, but rather well-made. The downside: the waiter came to ask us if we wanted another naan. I naively thought it was included in the menu, as everything else was on the menu. Double! No way, €7 extra for 2 cheese naans! It's a shame because the staff are friendly and smiling. I would appreciate a response to this comment that wasn't generated by AI.

Lovely place with lovely staff!

Excellent Indian restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Loyal to the Taj Mahal since day one, we never get tired of it! Special mention to our usual waitress, always so attentive and incredibly kind, making us feel right at home. It's by far the best Indian restaurant in Reims: we enjoy every single meal, the atmosphere is fantastic with the soft Indian music playing in the background, and it's always a pleasure to sit down. Honestly, thank you for everything, don't change a thing!

A truly authentic Indian meal and atmosphere. With a diverse menu, you're sure to find something to your liking. The cheese naan served with your meal is delicious. Chicken tyka, etc... Excellent. And don't miss the famous carrot cake for dessert.

We had a great time at Taj Mahal Restaurant Indien! The food was flavourful and fresh! The naan we ordered was also amazing:) The people that helped us were super kind and helpful! We had a yum diner😋 Worth every penny !!!

Excellent value for money! Everything was delicious and very generous (we couldn't finish it!). The young waitress had a wonderful smile and was very friendly. A great place to discover!

Excellent restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed a superb starter accompanied by three wonderful sauces and a delicious main course. Very generous portions. The welcome and staff were top-notch. I recommend it 100%. Go without hesitation.

I came for lunch with my sister, the atmosphere was pleasant, the waitress and waiter were very kind, the dish arrived quite quickly, it was very good and plentiful, I recommend it.
