I highly recommend New Shalimar because it's an incredibly good restaurant with efficient service. The servers are incredibly kind. For birthdays, they can play music and put candles on the cake, and the room is transformed into a birthday atmosphere (2-3 minutes). To tide you over while you wait for your meal, they offer small cocktails or appetizers. Thank you very much.

The food is excellent. However, I didn't appreciate the waiter's welcome. I came in, and he nodded at me as if asking, "What do you want?" I found that unacceptable. It's impolite, bordering on vulgar. When you welcome customers, you say "Good evening, sir/madam." That's basic courtesy. I'm still giving you 4 stars because the food is delicious, but the service needs improvement.

My favorite Indian restaurant! I go there regularly and I'm never disappointed. The service is always very quick and attentive. Several of the set menus are particularly appealing. I highly recommend you try this restaurant 😊

Excellent Indian restaurant. I've been going there for years, even before it became New Shalimar (it was the original Shalimar restaurant). The welcome is always so warm and friendly. The staff is very polite and attentive. The dishes are varied and delicious. Our go-to Indian restaurant!

27/08/2025: I order delivery. I find it good, plentiful and fast delivery. They are lovely. They even called me back because I had overpaid!!!! Really good.
19/08/2025: A lovely discovery in Rosny-sous-Bois. Chance has its uses. I had an excellent chicken butter sandwich there, and my cheese naan was a delight. Very good!
