Pickle tray arrived with a single small (and soft) popadom. nan bread arrived a long time before meal, so they were cold when our mains arrived. Food was bland and lacking spices, but maybe that;s a local preference. Worst Indian food we've ever had and we're from Bradford!

We came with friends, and we loved it!!! The meal was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the owner gave us a very warm welcome—he was so kind and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a great time and, above all, enjoy a delicious meal. Excellent value for money.

20/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at Shalimar, an excellent place for Indian/Pakistani food with attentive staff and exquisite dishes. The only downside: the busy street can sometimes make it difficult to fully enjoy the terrace.
