Excellent traditional cuisine. Everything is homemade. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect. A very good restaurant at reasonable prices.

MARCH 2025 + APRIL 2025: Two 1-Night Stays with a Bed and Breakfast Package. ROOM: - Too bad the flat-screen TV is so tiny. - The room decor transports you back to the seventies and early eighties. BATHROOM: - Impossible to easily adjust the shower temperature, - so I preferred to wash the old-fashioned way, using a washcloth while standing at the sink, rather than risk scalding or burning myself in the shower. BREAKFAST: - From now on, the owner, with a BIG THANK YOU, places on my table: a BOWL + a pitcher of cold milk + a large spoon + a piece of fruit. All I have to do is bring my oatmeal so I can enjoy my morning cereal. JUNE 2024: 4-Night Stay with a Bed & Breakfast Package. ROOM: - If you don't mind the seventies-themed room decor, you'll enjoy your stay. - Comfortable bedding + Decent cleanliness. BATHROOM: - You're transported back to the early eighties when you take a dip in the bath! - Everything works well + Decent cleanliness. BREAKFAST: - Remember (like us) to bring: Your oatmeal or muesli, as well as your bowls! (The owner told us that "she was unlucky!") - Remember (like us) to bring: Your morning fruit (kiwis, clementines, oranges, or mandarins) - We were served small industrial rolls every morning (frozen and baked on site). The result: when you tried to cut them in half, the crumb formed a compact and indigestible ball! It's a shame, especially since in Gouzon there are two artisan bakers who make REAL traditional bread every day.

We stayed there for two nights. The hotel was pleasant and the welcome was warm. Unfortunately, we weren't able to try the restaurant. Thank you for the herbal teas.

The welcome and service were top-notch. The decor was a bit dated, but that didn't bother us as we quite like that style. The dinner was on par with a gourmet restaurant and served by a true professional with impeccable technique.
