My partner and I stumbled upon this bar-restaurant at a flea market in Pont-de-l’Arche and were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was excellent, and the warm, characterful oriental decor gives the establishment a lot of charm. The frescoes and the overall ambiance create a truly exotic atmosphere. We enjoyed homemade couscous with perfectly cooked merguez sausages: a real treat. As a big fan of oriental desserts, I particularly enjoyed the baklava, remarkable for its delicate texture, crispness, and balanced flavors. These pastries are undoubtedly among the best in the region.

A great experience for a quick lunch break on Sunday. Bistro atmosphere with an oriental touch. Attentive service, friendly owner. I didn't try the specialties, but the grilled food was already excellent.

30/09/2026: Stopover in our campervan at the municipal campsite on the banks of the Eure River. We had lunch there after enjoying an excellent beer the night before. The menu, written on a chalkboard, offered a wide variety of starters, main courses, and desserts. We opted for a perfectly crispy fish and chips with a delicious béarnaise sauce and homemade fries. We finished with a delightful "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) featuring chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, a rocher (a type of chocolate fondant), and a macaron. The service was friendly and efficient. A great place to eat in Pont-de-l'Arche. Reservations are recommended. We'll be back.
