A calm and pleasant museum; thanks to our well-chosen time slot, it wasn't crowded. Beautiful stickers and posters are available free of charge at the reception desk.

A relatively small but very interesting museum of modern art!!! If someone has time and is interested in modern art, it is worth visiting!!!

It took me a while to discover the MAC VAL; it's true that at the time it was difficult for me to get there by public transport from my home. I took advantage of its 20th anniversary to finally discover this little cultural gem in the Val-de-Marne. Being more used to Parisian museums, I really enjoyed the MAC VAL; the exhibitions and the sheer number of works are perfect. Entry was free for the anniversary weekend, but I should note that the regular admission price is very affordable at 5 euros. The museum staff were very patient and understanding despite the crowds for the 20th anniversary. The fact that they brought out works from the museum's collections also had an impact. There's a shop for buying souvenirs. It's wonderful that the city of Vitry-sur-Seine offers us this gem. Contemporary art doesn't always appeal to everyone, but it's worth discovering, learning about, and understanding. The museum is easily accessible by all means (public transport, bicycle, car, and on foot). I invite you to discover the MAC VAL for yourselves… young and old alike.

A large space for culture and contemporary art, with very interesting exhibitions

A superb museum in the heart of the Val-de-Marne, with modern architecture and consistently original, moving, and poetic exhibitions. And what's more: very affordable admission and spacious, uncrowded galleries (unlike the usual throngs of Parisian museums). Special mention goes to the monthly baby tours: the team is delightful and perfectly attuned to children's needs. These hour-long tours are themed and perfectly suited to a (very) young audience, who are thrilled to explore alongside the artworks and interact with the museum staff!

I actually loved this musuem, its pretty far away from main the touristy areas of Paris, so a bit of effort is required. If you enjoy contemporary art, then I would definitely recommend it. I thought the collection was really interesting and thoughtful. And the collection was quite large for the entrance price.

A superb museum, both in terms of its architecture and its programming! An original selection: art created in France since 1950. All the most original and committed creations, you'll sometimes be a little shaken! The Paris region, here it's Vitry, is full of surprises! The restaurant is impeccable.
