A very interesting contemporary art museum, there are performances and concerts sometimes, the exhibitions change from time to time, the museum is beautiful and so are the gardens, we really enjoyed it and the staff are very friendly.

It took me a while to discover the MAC VAL; it's true that at the time it was difficult for me to get there by public transport from my home. I took advantage of its 20th anniversary to finally discover this little cultural gem in the Val-de-Marne. Being more used to Parisian museums, I really enjoyed the MAC VAL; the exhibitions and the sheer number of works are perfect. Entry was free for the anniversary weekend, but I should note that the regular admission price is very affordable at 5 euros. The museum staff were very patient and understanding despite the crowds for the 20th anniversary. The fact that they brought out works from the museum's collections also had an impact. There's a shop for buying souvenirs. It's wonderful that the city of Vitry-sur-Seine offers us this gem. Contemporary art doesn't always appeal to everyone, but it's worth discovering, learning about, and understanding. The museum is easily accessible by all means (public transport, bicycle, car, and on foot). I invite you to discover the MAC VAL for yourselves… young and old alike.
