Le Yucca sur La Gacilly

We arrived without a reservation around 1:30 pm and didn't have to wait, the service was fast, the mussels were beautiful and the ice cream was great!

A lovely getaway to La Gacilly and a wonderful discovery. The staff were pleasant and patient. The food was very good. I highly recommend it.

⭐⭐⭐ Review based solely on an aperitif and sharing platter experience, not a full meal. There were six of us, and we came to Yuka simply for an aperitif and a sharing platter. Therefore, I can't comment on the restaurant/pizzeria or the main courses, as we didn't order any. As for drinks, no complaints: the prices are typical for a bar/restaurant, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. I personally had a non-alcoholic cocktail, quite sweet but really good. The Spritzes ordered by some were also very popular. Another nice touch was a welcome gesture: they were out of mint, and the owner offered to go get some for us. We declined, but I found it very customer-friendly. Regarding the full aperitif platter at around €26, my opinion is a bit more mixed. The mozzarella sticks were very good, the salad was decent, and the calamari rings were enjoyed by the others in our group. However, I was personally disappointed by the shrimp tempura: some pieces were very soft and the shrimp was quite rubbery, with a really uneven texture. Other people in the group, though, found the platter perfectly acceptable. A quick note for those who are only coming for a drink: be sure to specify from the start that you just want an aperitif. After the platter and drinks, we were naturally offered the option to order more. Nothing in itself a problem, but if your goal is only to have a drink and a platter, it's best to make that clear. Finally, a big thumbs up to the owner, who was pleasant and attentive. We were considering a charcuterie board, but he advised against it that day due to the heat, explaining that he preferred to avoid serving meat if he wasn't sure it would be as good as usual. I found his approach honest and appreciated. Overall, it was a pretty decent experience for having a drink and sharing a charcuterie board, but with some reservations about certain items on the board. So, I'd give it between 3 and 4 stars, but I'm leaning towards 3/5 based on my personal experience. Again, this review only concerns the aperitif + charcuterie board + drinks option and not the pizzas or meals, which I haven't tried.

Excellent service, very little wait considering how busy it was. The portions were generous, excellent value for money 👌. I highly recommend it.

As always, nothing to complain about. Top-notch service, food, and welcome. Great atmosphere, very pleasant staff. Looking forward to trying the yucca burger (but with six patties!) 🤣 and to one day discovering the yucca coupe for dessert. We highly recommend it, but save us a table! 😉 See you soon!

Excellent restaurant with a very wide selection. The ice cream is amazing. A large outdoor terrace. The staff is friendly. We love going back.

A stopover during the holidays. Good menu and very reasonable prices for August. I recommend it.

Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome with delicious, satisfying meals at affordable prices. I highly recommend it if you want to eat well at a good price!
