L'Epicurien sur Crestet

The chicken brochette was very greasy; the skin of the chicken was wrapped around the meat. Flappy fries. Tapas is fried junk. Looks like Mora. The curry sauce was spicy but tasty. The round table was cozy. The young, fresh lady was OK, as was the waiter.

Nice atmosphere with a view of Mont Ventoux and a warm setting. Tapas very good value for money, very good meal.

Had a delicious lunch! Very friendly people; we came to eat with our dog and mentioned that he is a bit reactive towards other dogs... there were 3 other dogs in the restaurant so they tucked us away well in a spot so our dog was at ease 👍 top service, very friendly people, and delicious food on top of that! Highly recommended 👍

Restaurant with platters and tapas, in a very nice setting, I highly recommend it

A lovely, large terrace. The tables aren't too close together. We came on a Wednesday evening when there was some very pleasant live music. Regarding the service, the young woman seated us without giving us the menus (I really don't understand this; it's a blatant sign of amateurism). After 10 minutes, I asked an older waiter who brought us the menus immediately. The rest of the service with this gentleman went very well, while the young waitress spent her time at the bar. The dishes are basic but good (marinated chicken skewer, baked Camembert, Provençal platter). The cocktails and the Irish coffee deserve a very good mention. The "homemade" fries are just so-so and soaked in oil, but only passable. We'll come back when there's live music, as it really enhances the atmosphere of the establishment.

We had a nice meal – we didn't mind having to wait a bit longer for our food, as it gave us plenty of time to enjoy our aperitif and charcuterie board. It was strange, though, that we had to wait more than 10 minutes for the menu despite an enthusiastic welcome... On top of that, the waiter was very friendly!

While in Vaison-la-Romaine for our vacation, we tried several restaurants. L'Épicurien was our best experience, both in terms of the quality of the food and the ambiance, which truly evokes a holiday atmosphere. As a family of two adults and two children, we found this restaurant ideal for families. We highly recommend it.

Dinner this Thursday evening. We ordered our aperitifs and the service was quick. The same for the main courses. The hamburger was very good, by the way, I rarely eat them, but this chicken one was truly excellent. The salad was very good, but the fries were inedible; they were overcooked, hard, and burnt. I had to ask for more, which the waiter wasn't too happy about, but no big deal. Then we finished our main courses and waited for our dessert order to be taken... waited, waited, waited. 30 minutes later, after a constant flurry of waitresses going back and forth to clear the tables behind and in front of us and clean them, our table was never cleared nor was our order taken. So we decided to pay and leave. We told the person at the reception desk about both the good and bad aspects of our evening, but she didn't seem to care at all, didn't apologize, didn't offer to serve us our dessert, and didn't make any kind of gesture of goodwill. This very nice place, where everything is usually top-notch, has changed a lot... Is this a one-off mistake or a recurring problem? In any case, it doesn't make me want to go back, not because of the errors (which can happen), but because of the lack of professionalism and the failure to acknowledge customers who reported two incidents.

We had a wonderful time in this charming place. The terrace is very pleasant, and the tables are spaced far enough apart for privacy. There are two pétanque courts to pass the time. The decor is lovely and tasteful. The food is good, flavorful, and well-presented, using quality ingredients. The only downsides are the slightly high prices and the fact that I didn't see a menu. However, I highly recommend this very pleasant spot.
