My wonderful friends treated me to this special, unique , discreet restaurant situed in a small road in the city of Nîmes. It's quite original. I'm in complete admiration of the owner, an exceptional woman that greets, serves, cooks, etc all by herself!!! The food high quality fresh homemade. Gluten-free. You feel like you are at home sharing a good meal with loved ones. I will definitely return. I highly recommend to all to discover this restaurant ! Beware, she only has a few tables! Not for large groups.

I'm from Nîmes and I discovered this restaurant with English friends because I absolutely needed gluten-free options. Don't be put off by the slightly dated exterior or the slightly old-fashioned style of the dining room; once you start tasting Martine's cooking, it won't matter much. Her pieds paquets and pissaladière are delicious; it's traditional and generous cuisine. The gluten-free bread is homemade. Thank you, Martine, for sharing your passion and commitment to cooking and offering gluten-free options for those who need them.

What a joy to be with a friend who has celiac disease and be able to share her pizza! We ordered: 🍕The Carbo Bianca, with egg 🍕The Cabretta, with goat cheese and honey One with a cream base, the other with a tomato base—the perfect combination! Very reasonable price for gluten-free: less than €20 per pizza ✅ 👉🏻 @laulauglutenfree on Instagram for more 100% gluten-free and 100% honest reviews! I removed one star because the waitress and owner told us "served with local honey," but we saw her use a tube of "Honeymoon" honey…

At Aux Bartavelles, everything is top-notch: the traditional cuisine and the warm welcome. The starters are delicious, the main courses are flavorful and generous. The desserts are excellent; I highly recommend the Viganaise sundae. I go there regularly, I'm never disappointed, and I'll definitely be back.
