The food is very good. The menu is varied and there's something for everyone. The restaurant is a bit dated, but the atmosphere is pleasant. There were a few hiccups in the service (a pastry spilled on my clothes, an order error, etc.) without any attempt at redress from the staff. Not even a complimentary tea! 😁 Otherwise, it's still a good place. 🙂

12/12/2025: The gizzard salad needed more vinegar, and it was a shame to have added onions. The beef bourguignon was good.
11/12/2025: For the first time in 20 years, I left this restaurant disappointed (I ordered sirloin steak, perfectly cooked, but the meat was far too tough—just bad luck? I hope so). Otherwise, the place has just been completely renovated and remains a very pleasant spot by the water... I returned a month later, and everything was back to normal, from the service to the food; everything was perfect that evening... (One mistake in 20 years... that's still reasonable 😉). Until next time... The story continues... After this negative experience in August (the exception), a visit in September and another in December confirm the August exception... EXCELLENT... dishes on the menu change frequently... quality food... impeccable service... very good times spent in this establishment located on the banks of the Marne. See you soon at the VILLA.
