L'Ivoire Gourmand sur Saint-Denis

I really wanted to take the time to thank this restaurant; the owners are so kind and welcoming, and the food is excellent. I've been going to this restaurant for two years now, and I'm always pleasantly surprised.

A lovely atmosphere with African flavors

I've been coming here often for years, but be careful with your chicken. In my last order, some pieces of chicken had gone bad. Don't play with the meat, it's dangerous.

Oh yes. That's a yes, a resounding yes. My friend Ilan and I definitely love African culture. Indeed, the welcome these people give us is always pleasant, yes. A resounding yes. The gentleman was gentle yet firm in his efforts to best direct his kitchen team... just like the chicken mafé delicately placed on my plate... tender yet firm: "2 tieps chicken please, Mr. Waiter!!!!" And he quickly got to work. 4 minutes after the order was placed, the plate was full. Oh, that one was good... What a treat. We recommend the allocos, which exuded sub-Saharan Africa. Small portion, long-time customer, I thought it was a mistake when I saw the portion, beware of takeaway meals.

I went there yesterday and not only was the welcome super warm but the dish was also excellent and generous. I highly recommend it.
