I've been going to this restaurant at least once a month for the past few years, sometimes every week, because it's always like visiting friends—you feel so comfortable and relaxed.
The owner, Yann, and his family are lovely.
The dishes are only spicy if you ask for it. There's a wide variety of choices. My favorites are the mint lassi, the salmon tikka, the Kashmiri rice (with raisins), and the semolina and coconut dessert, "kesari."
The recently renovated decor is superb and exotic.
It's best to make a reservation, but there's usually a way to get a table. 🙂
Maison de l'Inde, the restaurant you absolutely must go to in Saint Louis.
You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff are friendly and attentive. The food was of high quality and tasted excellent. A restaurant that I can highly recommend!
I went for lunch and had tandoori chicken and butter paneer. Tasty and good value. Friendly host and staff.
Had lunch again in November, now inside. Upgrading my April rating.
