Delicious food, a warm and friendly welcome, and a typical setting. A lovely evening spent at the Maison de l'Inde!

I regularly order takeout from this restaurant and the quality is always excellent. The dishes are flavorful, very aromatic, and the portions are generous. A reliable choice that I highly recommend.

We came with friends one evening. From the initial phone call to make the reservation to the final bill, everyone was very kind. We had a very good meal. The only slight negative point was that we hadn't even finished our aperitifs when the main courses arrived, but that's just a minor detail.

I've been going to this restaurant at least once a month for the past few years, sometimes every week, because it's always like visiting friends—you feel so comfortable and relaxed. The owner, Yann, and his family are lovely. The dishes are only spicy if you ask for it. There's a wide variety of choices. My favorites are the mint lassi, the salmon tikka, the Kashmiri rice (with raisins), and the semolina and coconut dessert, "kesari." The recently renovated decor is superb and exotic. It's best to make a reservation, but there's usually a way to get a table. 🙂 Maison de l'Inde, the restaurant you absolutely must go to in Saint Louis.

I only ordered takeaway, but both the food and the service were excellent!!
