Maison de l'Inde sur Saint-Louis

My first experience at an Indian restaurant and what a great discovery! The very kind waiter gave me excellent advice, and I loved everything; it was delicious. Quick service, pleasant atmosphere.

The meal was very good; if you like Indian food, it's great. Unfortunately, it arrived really late (an hour's wait), even though there weren't many people there at lunchtime, and my colleagues and I had to go back to work afterward. But I was especially surprised by the young waitress's inappropriate remark when I politely asked for a second carafe of water. What a shame. *I don't really see the connection with the naan order or the subsequent remark. Our drinks were already served slowly. If you're understaffed, I completely understand; it's a shame because you could have just let us know. But that's not the most bothersome thing for me; it's the carafe incident. I was easygoing and didn't make a big deal out of it, but it still shocked the rest of the table. It was clearly inappropriate behavior. However, I see you've tried to make up for it, so I'll still add a star. Have a good day!
