Maison des Cevennes sur Breau-Et-Salagosse

I love this simple and welcoming place. The food is excellent, in a superb setting. We didn't try the rooms.

They are super friendly and very welcoming. We had a wonderful night and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is a bit secluded, perfect for hiking.

A much-appreciated stop on the St. Guilhem pilgrimage route. A lovely, peaceful spot nestled in a forest at altitude. A very warm and friendly welcome. The room was very clean, comfortable, and had excellent bedding. Dinner and breakfast were high quality, delicious, and plentiful. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend this accommodation. The inn is ideally located for beautiful hikes in the heart of the forest. The owner was very welcoming. Our motorcycle parked right in front of the inn. We were on half-board: the evening meal was very good, with generous portions, and included wine, coffee, or herbal tea. Breakfast was the same. The room price seemed a bit excessive to me: €92 with breakfast. We've stayed in much more comfortable, and much cheaper, guesthouses. Our bed creaked horribly; it was very unpleasant. Everything is very basic, including the bathroom, where not only do you take a shower, but the bathroom itself takes a shower too. There's clearly enough space to partition off the shower to avoid splashing water everywhere. There are very few electrical outlets. Apart from these minor inconveniences, everything else was fine.

Excellent stop on the way to St. Guilhem. Lovely, well-equipped and decorated room, very friendly owners, excellent meals.

We stayed in the heart of the forest in an exceptional setting. The cottage was well laid out and very clean. The meal at the restaurant was simply excellent. Thank you to Damien for his hospitality!

An ideal spot for hikers, surrounded by nature: the Maison des Cévennes is located right on the Saint-Guilhem trail. The rooms are quiet, the meals are very good (with a vegetarian option and a full breakfast), and the welcome is warm. The price is very reasonable.

I just had a short stay there with my hiking group, and we were delighted: the welcome, the comfort, and the food were all excellent. 👍
