Plancha Grill Bondy sur Bondy

What a fantastic discovery on the Quai de Bondy. They strike the perfect balance between classic French technique and eclectic, global-leaning flavors made completely in-house. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible kindness of the servers, who made us feel completely welcome from start to finish. A massive bonus for international travelers is that the staff effortlessly speaks French, Spanish, and English, which was incredibly beneficial for us and made the experience so smooth. Make sure to save room for dessert because they are absolutely amazing and the perfect end to the meal. A standout spot in Lyon—we will definitely be back!

A perfect place for dinner with friends or a romantic date.

Had a lovely three course meal here, small menu but lovely choices, very reasonably priced for the standard of food. Lovely staff. Had a house apperitif, a couple of glasses of wine and chartreuse to end.

Excellent place, great value for money and also very good service!

Excellent place, delicious and carefully prepared cuisine!

Stopped here for a quick bite on our first afternoon in Lyon and ended up really impressed. Creative, fusion-style small plates that looked great and tasted even better, the vitello tonnato was a highlight. Lovely wine too. The place has a young, relaxed feel and the staff were friendly with great energy. A really nice find, would recommend.

Very good and welcoming. It's nice to see smiles.

The staff are excellent. The cuisine is innovative.

My wife and I just had the plesure of enjoying an early dinner at Bistrot Bondy. Actually this was our second visit. After spending several days taking in Lyon's famous bouchon cusine, it was a delight to switch to a more contemporary French style of food preparation. The plating was excellent and the flavors were fantastic. Their menu offered a variety of food choices. We selected the starter Vitello Tonnato and Beef Tartare as a main. We highly recommend Bistrot Bondy for a pleasurable French dining experience.

A nice experience, despite we found the restaurant empty at the beginning. I usually don't enter empty restaurants, but it was good to have entered.
