Poulaillon sur Mulhouse

I like having breakfast there; it's a nice place with lovely staff. However, as of May 2026, the hygiene isn't great; the tables are never cleaned and the dishes aren't clean 😥

Nice place to have a short breakfast with a coffee, a nice bread and a delicious dessert. When the place is crowded you would need to wait to get your food and a place to sit. Prices are OK for a fast food.

The staff is friendly and nice. The food is delicious, with a wide selection from sweet to savory. They offer tea, coffee, hot milk, etc. You can also order crêpes, both sweet and savory. The bakery is clean and comfortable.

The setting could be very pleasant, but the lack of maintenance is glaring: dust, slippery floor, dirty oven, splashes everywhere, spilled cocoa. The reception area is so filthy that I shudder to think what the kitchens must be like. It's a real shame, as it severely detracts from the image and comfort of the place.

Lovely breakfast at Poulaillon Mercière. The pain au chocolat was absolutely delicious, and my personal favourite was the seafood baguette highly recommended. A great spot for breakfast or a quick bite, and a must-visit if you’re in Mulhouse.
