What cyclist hasn't dreamed of becoming self-sufficient in maintaining and repairing their bike? Of no longer relying solely on a repair shop, of learning the right techniques from a professional… and all for a €30 annual membership fee! That's exactly what Guidoline offers, and frankly, the concept is brilliant. I was lucky enough to be welcomed and guided by Hugo, a certified and highly experienced bike mechanic who really knows his stuff… no pun intended. 😄 During my first visit, I was able to work on my Giant Defy Advanced 2, notably replacing the derailleur cable. I then returned a second time with my son, who is very interested in mechanics. This time, a major project: replacing the 12-speed cassette and the chain with its quick link. And that's where I particularly appreciated the philosophy of the place: Hugo doesn't do the repairs for us. He explains, demonstrates, advises, and then lets us do our own thing, staying close by to guide us. My son was able to truly participate in repairing the bike, under his supervision. A fantastic experience for him… and for me! The workshop is also very friendly: several people can work on their bikes at the same time, we chat, learn from each other, and can have a coffee or a juice… In short, it's a far cry from your typical repair shop. For just €30 a year, you can come back as many times as needed to learn how to maintain and repair your bike, with access to tools and advice from knowledgeable people. An excellent place to become self-sufficient in bike mechanics, to learn and repair rather than throw away or replace. And naturally, in a time when we should be prioritizing repair, secondhand, and refurbished bikes over new ones, this is exactly the kind of initiative I love. 🚲🔧♻️ I recommend Guidoline 100%!

Guidoline is the very embodiment of a daily commitment to the common good and the development of sustainable mobility. The welcome is warm and motivating; the training provided is rigorous and precise; you leave on your bike having learned as much about your bicycle as about human interaction. I've been coming to Guidoline for a few years now to have my bikes serviced while enjoying a beer or a coffee. A sofa, a community bar, a foosball table, and a variety of events—everything is designed to make this a vibrant place. If you're looking for a perfectly serviced bike at a low cost, this is also the place to go: many bikes are refurbished by the association and sold. Thank you to them!
