My wife and I stayed at Mas de Boudan and had a truly wonderful time.
The place is very comfortable, with high-quality bedding, tasteful decor, and a wealth of amenities and generous toiletries, making for a particularly pleasant stay.
We loved the thoughtful touches in the fridge: strawberry juice and local beer, both complimentary to guests and not part of a minibar, as well as the delicious little cakes made by Jérôme Nutile, which added a truly gourmet and refined touch. The midday check-out was also a real plus.
On the downside—very minor, but important to mention for a 4-star hotel—a few maintenance details could be improved:
• small areas where the paint is missing,
• some slightly worn furniture,
• a damaged picture frame in our room,
• and insufficient water pressure in the rain shower, which prevented us from fully enjoying this lovely feature.
These aren't major flaws, but for an establishment of this caliber, they are points that could be improved.
On the other hand, the value for money is excellent, especially considering the comfort, the attentive service, and the overall quality of the experience.
In short: a very pleasant and welcoming stay with excellent amenities. A few minor maintenance improvements would make it truly perfect.
