Restaurant Hestia sur Tarnos

A beautiful bakery with magnificent cakes! We bought pastries and sandwiches, but I would have loved to try all those lovely gifts.

A great spot on the road to Bayonne and the Basque Country. Small tables in front of the shop, perfect for breakfast outside, for example. Limited selection, but excellent pastries! Simple but efficient service. They're actually looking for a sales assistant...

I bought some pastries that were truly beautiful and delicious; kudos to the pastry chefs for the perfect balance of flavors and textures (the Jamaican/three-chocolate cake was excellent!). I was less impressed with the Basque cakes, it's true. As for the saleswoman, I often ask her for explanations, and she's always friendly! I'll gladly return because the colorful display alone makes you want to try everything!
