Restaurant Le Lagon sur Berrias-Et-Casteljau

Went there 3 weeks ago and we had a great experience! Delicious humongous pizzas, awesome atmosphere and wonderful staff. I highly recommend the Valrhona chocolate mousse it's to die for! Had a lovely chat with Laurent who educated us about the art of making pizzas!

The setting is magnificent and the food delicious.

Great pizzeria but too bad you no longer make two different halves of pizza on the same pizza like before. Homemade desserts are good!

Very good food, the pizzas are excellent and the lamb ribs are top notch, the octopus is cooked to perfection. Service with a smile and humor as I like.

Very nice place, nice setting I tasted a pizza which was unfortunately burnt underneath so not great!!!!! The negative point is the welcome and the service!!!!! One of the waitresses impeccable, the other no hello except after saying "hello", The impression of annoying her because there is no time to finish and she takes everything off the table.... We had to point out to him that we wanted to finish our bottle of wine. Then the lights went out which made us understand that we had to leave!!!! Very disappointed!!!!!

We returned to C4 recently after a visit at the start of the season and we found there the good pizzas of previous years after a period of uncertainty at the start of the season on a change of dough work, excellent and topped with good products, the best in the sector and by far even if it costs between 21 and 25 euros but they are large and offered for two people, a justified price. As for wine, quality local products are offered at reasonable prices. On the other hand, an 11 euro aperitif for a well-known brand whiskey is a bit painful and the desserts aren't cheap either. Last point, the waitress's outfit raised questions, a little indecent in our opinion. Despite everything, she has a pleasant touch. Does she realize this and has the employer asked her to show off less? A bit of a shame to expose yourself so much.

Great time like every year. First time I'm posting a comment but it must be emphasized that the food is excellent as well as the pizzas. The service is professional and fast. The piece of pork has not changed from year to year, still just as juicy and plentiful, a treat!

Superb discovery. Very nice setting, attentive staff at the top. Extraordinary cuisine. We had a very pleasant time and we ate very well. I recommend 100%
