Excellent restaurant, superb food. The couple who served us were friendly. The village, with its very rare Verzy beech trees, offers a wonderful place for a walk after your meal.

Visited for Saturday lunch without reservation. Nice atmosphere on the terrace with lots on bonhmie. Service was fantastic. Food was solid French cooking with a good local wine list, but food more on the expensive side compared to other local restaurants. I'd still recommend it. The menu enfant was perfect for a four year old.

4,9/5 A super nice address not too far from Reims. Family business (father and son in the kitchen, daughter tending to clients). Very nice & cool staff, decor and seating was generic yet comfortable enough! Generosity is the key word; whether drink-wise or meal portions, the serving is copious!! Dishes are savory and delicious!! Tried the tuba tataki with coleslaw: perfectly cooked red tuna, homemade coleslaw with a sweetness that wasn’t overwhelming, complementing well the fish. Opted for the Angus tournedos medium rare; perfectly cooked and seasoned, rich glossy deep sauce, served with a delicious ratatouille. Wine was fantastic: we opted for a bottle from the Languedoc region, Terrasses du Larzac 2023. Sublime young fragrant wine! It’s a VERY nice address that’s really worth the visit whenever in the region!

Nice restaurant, simple but effective. Service friendly, but a bit busy. Good value for money. Smoking is allowed on the terrace, which is annoying when you are eating.

+ Plenty of food for those who want it. Not a typical French restaurant. + Two courses are more than enough for the average diner. It is strange to get so much food on your plate when you come for French finesse with your Champagne. - With fewer courses, a visit would also be more affordable. We spent 48 euros pp for simple food. - Many flies came inside, distracting us from eating and conversation. That can be remedied. - There is no terrace or garden; in the summer, that can be disappointing.

Absolutely fantastic in every way: superb meal, fast service, attentive waitress, very pleasant country atmosphere, original dishes, and very reasonable prices. The only small thing is, a little background music would be nice. We'll be back.
