Excellent restaurant in a great location on the banks of the Marne. In the summer you can eat on the terrace by the water.

Family dinner on February 21st. The setting is that of the Riad, a historic restaurant on the banks of the Marne. It's in dire need of a complete renovation, including the restrooms. The service: very friendly welcome. The restaurant was packed, so the service was a bit slow. The food: I had couscous with two chicken skewers. Everything was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. The semolina and vegetables were perfect. The value for money is therefore good. In the summer, they have a lovely terrace overlooking the Marne. In short: yes, I recommend it! The only thing that needs improvement is a complete renovation of the restaurant....

the best couscous we regularly enjoy in a typical setting

We come to this restaurant for a royal couscous about once a year. This time, we were rather disappointed and noticed a decline in quality. Beyond the restaurant itself, which could use a bit of a refresh, the prices are high, extra semolina is now an extra charge (€4 for a small plate, without any prior notice, whereas it used to be included), and the raisins and chickpeas are few and far between and simply placed on the plate. The pastries are also not as good as they used to be. After speaking with the head waiter, he finally offered us the extra semolina on the house. In the end, we really felt a lack of generosity for such a high price. We're not sure we'll be back...
