The owner gave a discreet welcome, but the entrance glass doors needed cleaning, and that was about it! The waitress was pleasant and sociable. The food quality was average (the sushi counter wasn't very fresh, etc.). The establishment was quiet! There was a regular charge for four children sitting behind the bar.
I used to go there regularly. I'd never been disappointed. Yesterday, the samosas were doughy and indigestible. I always finish my meal with cheese. There was no more bread. My husband went to ask for a piece. The rather curt reply was that there was no more bread, even though it was 1:30 pm. On the other hand, our young waitress was very kind and friendly.
The setting is very pleasant, as is the welcome. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The restaurant offers a column buffet with a very wide selection of items. The Piña Colada was excellent. However, it would be nice to add a candy skewer. Also, the food wasn't always hot enough or cooked thoroughly.
