A fantastic experience in an enchanting setting. What a garden... We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Special mention goes to the wonderful welcome and kindness of the owner. A place worth knowing about!
A superb, intimate spot. We had lunch on the chef's shaded terrace, which was very pleasant.
The menu was delicious, featuring fresh and flavorful ingredients.
When we made the reservation, the owner informed us about the menu and also mentioned that he doesn't accept card payments, which was very helpful to know in advance since there are no ATMs in the village.
The atmosphere is wonderful and very peaceful; I will gladly return.
A timeless place, nestled in the Chartreuse mountains (no view, you're in the forest). A single daily (evening) dish. Carefully prepared, locally sourced cuisine, often with produce from the garden. A homestay with a local family and their mid-mountain garden, in the heart of the countryside, 15 minutes from the center of Grenoble. Attentive service by the chef/manager, reasonable prices, especially for drinks. Starter/main course/dessert approximately €30 per person.
Very charmed by the food, ingredients, chef, and setting. We were served dishes topped with freshly snipped flowers and herbs. One cannot beat this level of fresness. And it was fun to expand our french vocab to include names for plants like nettles. We will definitely return.
