A wonderful discovery for our romantic weekend in Dieppe. This place far surpasses the touristy restaurants in the port, just a 5-minute walk away. The dishes are excellent, served by the chef, generous portions, and the welcome and service are very warm. Go for it!

A very good experience at this small restaurant. Fresh, seasonal produce cooked with originality while preserving the authenticity of the region. I recommend it.

The price/quality ratio was acceptable, but we waited half an hour for dessert, and only after asking for it! Be warned, the waitress is temperamental!

We arrived unexpectedly on a Saturday that was clearly busy, after calling ahead. Sophie gave us a warm welcome both on the phone and upon our arrival. Lunch was superb: the oysters, sea bass fillet, and Dieppe-style fish stew were succulent, and the Norman dessert was a delight—I can still taste the apple crème brûlée and the meringue flambéed with Calvados. Thank you for everything... we will gladly return on our next visit to Dieppe!

Honestly, "La Cale" (The Hold) lives up to its name; not only was I filled to the brim, but I also thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was impeccable and very professional, and the flavors were spot on. My wife and I will definitely be back.

We'd been dreaming of discovering this place for ages (it's best to book in advance, which we did 😉). After a warm and lively welcome in a very pleasant bistro setting, we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the amuse-bouche to the coffee: perfectly prepared fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, generous portions with plenty of sides 😋 and the signature dessert... 🎉❤️ Don't change a thing!
