Tentation de Pekin sur Marseille

Very good appetizers; Cuisine: the coconut lemongrass sauce was not very liquid and the chicken was not very spicy, the beef was good but a little too much peppercorns. There wasn't much choice on the menu that day, but at least we can assume that it's "homemade" cuisine, at least the main dishes, because the spring rolls we feel are not cool in my opinion. But in any case the staff was smiling and kind, I even got an extra portion of rice. Good value for money. I'm waiting to come back to taste the famous suckling pig...

As an Indonesian, I'm happy I found Indonesian Restaurant here. I had bakso and it was really great. The ambience feels like in Ubud. Feels like home❤️🇮🇩

In the middle of asphalt and buildings, an Oasis... Sheltered, a green cocoon and an explosion of flavors at the table.

You feel cut off from everything on this terrace, the service is done with a smile and then the food…. PERFECTLY spicy! There is a lot of love in this place, in these dishes! It was a treat and we will come back, that’s for sure.

Good food, well flavored and well presented. Very good service also and the terrace is very pleasant with all this vegetation. The price is however quite high in the end: €40/45 for a main course, a dessert and a drink knowing that the plates are not very loaded.

A big fan of Indonesia where I have been many times, I was looking forward to testing this place. Alas, if the cuisine can delight a palate ignorant of Indonesian flavors you should know that we are not really in Indonesia. The rendang test was not conclusive, we are instead faced with a spicy carrot beef. As for the dadar gulung, the original, slightly thick crepe seemed to me to have been replaced by a rice cake colored green, very/too deep green to, it seems to me, be of natural origin. Difficult to get this color with pandan. Otherwise the terrace is very pleasant and even if I wanted to take us on a journey, I would have appreciated an Indonesian musical atmosphere.

This restaurant located very close to Place Castellane allowed us to take a culinary trip to Indonesia and Bali without leaving Marseille. As soon as we arrived, we had a good impression upon discovering the pretty terrace with lush vegetation. We had reserved a place inside. I found my cocktail excellent: I opted for the Russian made with champagne and vodka. The change of scenery on the plates was total. I chose a mixed plate to taste several flavors. My dish, the nasi campur padang, made with simmered beef, yellow rice, chicken skewers, fried noodles and vegetables was tasty and spicy without being too spicy. I moderately liked the chocolate banana spring rolls for dessert. The quality is therefore there but the other side of the coin is that the prices charged are quite high.
