We tested the Thanh Long restaurant for you:
For starters, we had the homemade steamed pork and shrimp dumplings and the steamed shrimp hakao: both were decent, but nothing special.
However, for our main courses, we ordered the golden roast duck and the sautéed cuttlefish with vegetables. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked. The roast duck was tender and crispy, and the cuttlefish was cooked to perfection. The accompanying vegetables were wonderfully crisp.
The only slight disappointment was the mandarin rice, which was overcooked and contained small pieces of chicken, shrimp, bamboo shoots, and rubbery chicken spring rolls.
We didn't order dessert.
The prices are reasonable, and the welcome and service were impeccable.
