Nice newly built theatre in central Perpignan. Large selection of different shows. Helpful staff at the box office. Good parking in the building next door for a fee and easy access by car.

A lovely theatre, beautiful stage and auditorium. The welcome is always very friendly. You always leave with wonderful memories.

An original exterior design, a hall capable of accommodating a relatively large audience, the armchairs and space reminiscent of another era – regrettable. A carefully curated and varied program.

The Théâtre de l'Archipel opened in 2011, replacing the old municipal theater on Place de la République, which had become too small for the city. The project was launched in 2000, and architect Jean Nouvel won the competition. Construction began in 2008. Inside, the theater offers a varied program: concerts, plays, dance, contemporary circus, and exhibitions.
